We distribute food, hot drinks, clothes, toiletries, sleeping bags and anything else that helps people sleeping on our streets stay well fed, warm and clean.
To keep you safe and comply with regulations, before joining us on a distribution round we require you to attend a short training evening where you will complete a short application form.
All volunteers will need to pass an Enhanced DBS check and complete a Safeguarding course.

Inclusive Volunteering Programme
Our IVP is a structured programme set up to give those with neurodiversity or forms of disadvantage, including homelessness, the chance to learn new skills and attain a reference which should lead to gainful employment outside the charity. Funded placements will usually be accepted subject to a short probationary period.
The charity currently has a number of students volunteering across different parts of the charity. Each student is seen weekly to monitor progress, check on their well-being and to see how they are coping in a documented but informal meeting.
We welcome those who are physically disabled, neurodiverse, with mental health conditions etc, and are happy to take referrals from external agencies.
Sharon Peterson, our H.R. manager, runs the programme, overseen by Trudy Hampton as welfare lead. Sharon keeps support workers updated weekly and will inform them of any issues immediately.
